We, the Presidents of the Senior AFL Canberra Football Clubs, applaud good sportsmanship and good
conduct by all players, supporters, and parents in the AFL Canberra junior competition.
AFL Canberra’s Junior competition is one where enjoyment and participation is paramount for all
involved in our great game.
It is essential that our Junior competition is conducted with respect for officials, players, support staff
and all spectators. No questions, no exceptions. Everybody in our football community has a responsibility
to ensure this is the case.
Allowing our junior players to enjoy their football in a positive environment is more important than the
final score.
Therefore, we encourage and expect everyone to participate in accordance with the spirit of the game,
and the rules of our Junior competition. As a football community, we must all strive to develop the
potential of our juniors, as players and as people.
