Received life membership in 2023.
Bernard “Bernie” Ryan started playing for Ainslie in 1966, and between then and 1977 would amass 103 First Grade Games and 107 Reserve Grade Games. Bernie was a part of multiple grand final teams during his time playing, winning in 1970,73,75,76, and 77. Alongside his time playing he would also serve as the clubs assistant secretary from 1972 until 1975, stepping down to the committee in 1976 and held that position until 1978.
Due to a amendment to the club constitution in 1991, Bernie was then allowed to qualify for life membership due to having played over 200 Senior level games.
