Received life membership in 1978.
A first-grade player from 1961 to 1965, Brian was a member of the 1961 premiership team. He then successfully combined service on the football committee as a committee member, vice president and senior vice president, with positions in the club’s junior organisation as coach, manager, committee member and, in 1986, president. For many years he represented the club at the League Disputes Tribunal. Brian earned wide respect in the Canberra football community for his good sportsmanship and enthusiasm for the progress of Australian Football.
