Recieved life membership in 1986.

Bruce “Bruceyboy” Glossop played at Ainslie between the years of 1965 and 1974, during that time he played 40 senior games between the First and Second Grade teams.

Towards the end of his playing career Bruce took on a more supportive role at the club starting as a committee member in 1973 a position he held until 1993. In that time he would step up in various other positions both at Ainslie and for ACTAFL, this includes senior vice president in 1976-78 and 1989-1993, President in 1982-85 and 1994-96, and ACTAFL director from 1986-1993.

Bruce had the honour of being the holder of the ACT National Australian Football Council Certificate of Merit in 1993.

These honours were earned for decades of love and support for the Club and for the game, many who knew him could often find Bruce at many local games always trying to find some job that needed doing or someone to help.
