Recieved life membership in 1932.
Joining the club in 1928 George was one of the first members of the Ainslie Football Club, his first office held was as Vice president until 1929, but alongside this he was a dedicated timekeeper, a position he held from 1928-1938. Alongside that work he served on the committee from 1930-1939 and was the club’s League Delegate from 1934-1939.
George’s time with the club was unexcpectadly short due to his passing in october of 1939.
