Glenn Brown

Glenn’s involvement with Ainslie first started in the 2008 season as a parent volunteer before forging a lasting tenure at Ainslie where he would cover various off-field roles over the years and bring about tremendous success for the club. 

Glenn’s time at Ainslie is highlighted by his contributions as manager of the Men’s First Grade team during the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 premiership seasons. Glenn was instrumental in Ainslie’s four-peat where his due diligence, tireless work and no fuss attitude was noted by players and other coaches. 

A Four-Peat Premiership run is an achievement only few can claim and takes a power of work from those involved off the field too. This was where Glenn excelled above and beyond to contribute to Ainslie’s sustained First Grade success over this period. 

Continuing to manage the First Grade side for years to come, Glenn would eventually switch roads in 2023 and take up the role as the manager for Community teams. As of 2026, Glenn still continues his role as Community Manager where his work from assistance with training operations and as gameday manager continues to make Community Football at Ainslie possible for all those involved. 

Glenn’s Life Membership recognises his selfless work, commitment and was highlighted through Ainslie sustained success in First Grade across the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 premiership seasons, but also in the various other roles he has covered across his involvement with the club.
