Received life membership in 2005.
Kicking off his career at Ainslie in 1989, Jason would go on to become a stewart of Ainslie sides for years to come. Jason holds the club record for the most Second Grade appearances, with 236 games and 16 First Grade games to add on top – a demonstration of his tremendous consistency over many years when he donned the Black, Red and White. Jason was a premiership player in 1992, 97 and 99 Second Grade seasons, where he also skippered the side for many years. Jason was awarded for his individual contributions when he was recepient of the Second Grade B&F in 1998. In recognition of Jason’s contributions to Ainslie Reserves – the Second Grade B&F Award is named in his honour.
Upon conclusion of his playing days in 2000, Jason continued his passion with Ainslie as a coach and trainer all for 20 plus years, and was further entrenched in many more Premierships for the numerous sides lucky enough to have Jason involved with. Life Membership speaks volume to Jason’s career as one of Ainslie’s most decorated Reserves players and his continued passion for Ainslie spanning over four decades.
