Received life membership in 2011.
John joined Ainslie in 1999, playing some Second Grade and District games for the club for the year. However, alongside playing John began taking up interest in volunteering at the club and started to perform the duties of Runner for the First and Second Grade teams, a role he maintained for many years. John’s involvment with Ainslie didn’t stop there, where he also held mutiple positions over the years – Property Officer, Finance Committee, Team Manager, Trainer, Fitness, Match Day Manager, Junior Coach, Ainslie Board Member and Treasurer
Life Membership for John represents a devoted off-field commitment to Ainslie where John served to make playing on Football on the weekend possible for all Ainslie players that were lucky enough to be involved with John.
