Received life membership in 2021.
Lee has had a playing, volunteer and administrative association with the Ainslie for over 50 years having served on both the senior and junior football boards and as a player for the 1983 Monaro Premiership Team “Ando’s Commando’s”. Lee was appointed President in 2017, having served as Senior Vice President since 2013 where he served for six years before stepping down in 2023. Since commencing with Ainslie in the Under 7’s in 1969.
Taking a break in the early 90’s to raise a family of three boys who are now carrying on the tradition at Ainslie with Hugh and Jarrod? (I think these are his kids) playing in the senior ranks. Lee has over 30 years’ experience in the public sector in a number of management and senior director roles specialising in procurement and finance, along with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Lee leveraged his vast array of life experiences back at Ainslie to support the strategic running and management of the club during his tenure in presidency roles.
As a result of Lee’s longstanding contribution to the club over the span of the last half-century, he was awarded Life Membership in 2021.
