Linda Muir

Linda’s determination is a trademark of who she is. As a football club, we have been the fortunate recipients from the many roles she has undertaken both in the junior space, where Linda served as our Club Development Manager as well as being a driving force for our junior teams. In many ways, when I look at the amount of junior AFC players who are now playing senior football at our club, I don’t think even Linda would have realised the influence she had back then would be benefitting the club now. It is worthy to note that Linda did other roles that, while not directly at the club, benefitted the club. She Served on the AFL Canberra Board of Directors, the Canberra Junior Advisory Committee including as Chair and the AFL Canberra Female Advisory Committee; All of these roles benefitted not just us but the competition as a whole. She previously worked as Club Development Manager in the juniors space and drove our junior participation levels in that competition and our Women’s Rising Stars Best Club Person is named after her.
