Recieved life membership in 1972.
Norm “Nifty” Neeson was playing AFL at a senior level from a young age, by his mid 20s he had already played for both North Melbourne in the AFL and Coburg in the VFA. These two teams saw him playing from 1955-1959.
Following on from there he would find himself playing and coaching the Ainslie First Grade team from 1961 onward. Continuing to coach until 1965, but remaining a player until 1970 where he rounded out his career with 113 First Grade games played. Norm continued on at Ainslie despite retiring from play, coaching the under 19s from 1970-1975.
