Received life membership in 1991.

Patrick Palmer ‘Paddy’ played all of his junior football with Ainslie and has been in and around the club since 1961 when his father Brian commenced his senior career, after relocating to Canberra from Melbourne.

Paddy’s senior career started in 1978, after bypassing the Under 19s to play in the Second Grade team. Between then and 1992 he would play 203 Second Grade games and 20 First Grade games. He was often seen as a reliable and stalwart player for the team, he would normally be found playing the midfield either as a rover, centre or wingman. Cherished ‘his number 31’, loved playing footy and loved what the club brought to his life.
