Received life membership in 2025.

Simon first became involved with Ainslie Football Club’s junior football programs in 2007, where he then would go on to serve as Junior President and Junior Football Manager from 2013–2017 before stepping into the role of General Manager in July 2017.
Over his tenure as General Manager, Simon led key aspects of the Club’s operations — from financial oversight and governance L I E to stakeholder engagement and facility management — helping to strengthen organisational capability and program delivery across both junior and senior football departments.
His contributions were part of a broader period of growth for the Club, including the expansion of female participation and competitive success across multiple grades. Across nearly two decades of service, Simon’s passion for the Club and commitment to football has been reflected in his leadership and mentoring of staff, volunteers and players. His work contributed to the women’s program’s sustained performance both on and off the field, supporting development pathways for juniors, women and men, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
Induction as a Life Member acknowledges Simon’s enduring impact on the Club, his deep engagement with the Ainslie community, and his outstanding dedication to the sport and people of Ainslie Football Club.
