Dear Ainslie Family,
Not the start we wanted to the year with another great person and part of our Family – John Bradley passing away recently at 81 years of age.
Most of John’s great work with the club was done by being a part of the Ainslie Football and Social Club board for 28 years with a keen interest on the business side of our operation.
He also gave valuable advice on many building projects the club has undertaken over that period and worked for over 60 years in the Canberra region in the building industry.
A long time Ainslie resident who frequented the club often – some of his favourite things to do was attending AFC Past Players and vet’s lunches, joining the late Billy Bishop for lunch on a regular basis and of recent times joining the “table of knowledge” with current members – John Loftus, Jim Muir and Bobby McKay – solving all of the world’s problems.
