Ainslie is eager to keep the momentum going after their impressive double premiership victory!
Ainslie Football Club are proud to announce the reappointment of Men’s Rising Stars Coach, Adam Gladman, and newly appointed Women’s Rising Stars Coach, Rohan Schlesinger.
After bringing home the flag from four deep in 2024, Gladman shares his ambition for the upcoming season:
“I’m very happy to be appointed as the Rising Stars Mens coach again for 2025, and excited for the season ahead. We will have changes to our squad as players move into senior footy, but I’m excited about working with the players remaining from the premiership team, as well as players coming up from the junior competition. I expect the Rising Stars competition to be very competitive again and, with an extra team in the competition, a strong start to the season will be crucial.”
Ainslie boast considerable depth in junior football, claiming both Under 16 Girls & Boys Junior Premierships.
Filling the shoes of the Club’s newly appointed Senior Women’s Head Coach, Schlesinger is excited to get started:
“I’m grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with such a talented group of young footballers, in such a positive and competitive women’s program here at Ainslie. I can’t wait to start the work with the 18s cohort to ensure they develop and are ready to progress to senior football and enjoy our great game.”
Rising Stars squads will participate in pre-Christmas training with the senior squads, before returning for pre-season in February 2025.
